Renee Mielnicki, Esq. – General Counsel and Director of Human Resources



Renee Mielnicki, Esq. graduated with her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law.  She began her career in 2001 practicing primarily in the areas of administrative, civil and criminal litigation. She then went on to serve as an Associate General Counsel from 2007 to 2013 for a housing authority where she developed skills dealing with contractual work, policy drafting, union issues and grievances along with a wide range of human resource related issues.  Renee joined East Coast Risk Management in October 2013 as its General Counsel and Director of HR where she then began to focus exclusively on human resource and employment related issues.

Renee works closely with our clients to provide expert consultation and Human Resources services including legal review or development of policies, procedures and employment-related contracts, training employees or supervisors on any HR-related subjects, guidance or representation at unemployment or EEOC proceedings, consulting and participating in sensitive terminations, and much more.
